Application are invited in the prescribed form from eligible candidates to the post of Driver in the scale of pay scale of Rs 5200 – 20200 + 2400 Grade Pay in the office of the Additional Resident Commissioner, Govt. of Mizoram, Kolkata on the condition governed by the existing Service Rules laid down by the Government of Mizoram.

Educational Qualification and other Qualification:

(i)The minimum educational qualification for the post of driver is Class-VIII.

(ii) having professional driving license in heavy, medium, light motor vehicles with at least 5 years experience in professional driving.

(iii) the candidate must be conversant with the components and mechanism of all types of vehicles. He must be able to detect the defects in the mechanism of engine, gear, differential and all important parts of the vehicles so as to avoid further damages to the vehicles. He must also be able to carry out minor repairs.

(iv) the candidate should possess proper valid Driving Licence with working knowledge of Mizo language at least Middle School standard.

The application with complete bio-data supported by relevant documents duly attested must reach the undersigned or Additional Resident Commissioner, Govt. of Mizoram, Ballygunje, Kolkata on or before 31.10.2013.
