It looks after lodging and fooding of Mizoram Govt. Official, dignitaries and civilians from Mizoram and of people from other states who are visiting Mizoram for any purpose. It also issues ILP to tourists and workers entering Mizoram from other States, Silchar is the main corridor for tourists and other types of visitors entering Mizoram by land route as such ILP branch of this establishment is quite busy. Silchar is also the main entry route for all essential commodities required by Mizoram from mainland India and this House always provides all logistics and administrative support to Government of Mizoram in maintaining this supply line of essential commodities for the state.
