Brief History of Sialkal Range Development Council

SRDC firstly known as Sialkal Tlangdung Development Board (STDB) was established by the Govt.of Mizoram vide  No.B.12021/1/2010-GAD dated the 24^th February,2012 and was published in the Mizoram Gazette on the 28^th February,2012 with a view to provide special administration to act as a local area development authority for the people of Sialkal Range. The Board was initially constituted for a period of 2(two)years and thereafter the term had been extended for another period of 2(two) years each consecutively.

                   The Board was later renamed as the Sialkal Range Development Council by the Govt.of Mizoram vide No.B.12012/1/2010-GAD dated the 24^th September,2013.
